Client testimonials
“I was already athletic and disciplined, but I wanted more flexibility and a better approach to longevity as I got closer to 50. Justin’s creative programming, functional mobility work, and stretching feel much more holistic. I can now touch my toes easily—something I could not come close to doing two years ago—and I feel more energetic, flexible, and less prone to injury.”
“I originally came to Justin to work on a muscle-up and some basic gymnastics, but my goals quickly evolved when I realized how much my mobility and body awareness needed attention. Justin’s knowledge across strength, mobility, gymnastics, and movement is rare, and drawing from that range has been incredibly helpful. Before working with him, I could not do a muscle-up, butterfly pull-ups, or a handstand. At nearly 44, I look and feel better than ever, can compete with people half my age, and I am still improving.”
“Before meeting Justin, I had a conventional view of fitness: lift weights, grind on the treadmill, and hope for results. Instead, my health was deteriorating, my weight kept climbing, and I felt stiff, fatigued, and defeated. Justin completely changed how I understand and use my body. I lost one-third of my body weight and can now do handstands, real push-ups, bridges, and stretches I had never been able to do. I have the energy to hike with my kids, sail, and scuba dive. Training with Justin has been the best investment I have made in myself.”
“I was active in tennis, but my mobility and strength were declining, and I worried that the lack of cross-training was hurting my performance. Justin takes a holistic approach instead of chasing weight or repetition numbers, and he adjusts the work to each client’s age, interests, and physical condition. When we started, I could not turn in my seat to look behind the car while parking. Now I can look behind me without relying on the rearview camera, and I can tie my shoes without bending my knees—a fun little flex.”
“Even as a relatively fit person, I struggled with shoulder and hip mobility that caused frequent aches and pains. Training with Justin is targeted, highly personalized, and built around my pace, strengths, and needs. By focusing on my weakest and least-developed areas, I feel stronger overall. I can now do baby pistol squats and hang for 30 seconds. I look forward to every workout because I know we are concentrating on the areas I need most.”
“I would not have been able to accomplish everything I have done without the accountability of my coach. This program is amazing, and I am so thankful and excited to continue!”
“I have made tremendous progress in my first year of training—far beyond my expectations. I sought out this program because of recurring soft-tissue injuries, and since starting, I have had no injuries. My coach, Justin, has been consistently available and has provided excellent feedback.”
“Training with Justin has changed the way I think about performance. The focus on joint strength, flexibility, and balance is the biggest difference from other gyms and coaching methods I have tried. I am better in the bumps when skiing and seem less prone to chronic tennis-related injuries in my shoulder, elbow, and Achilles. With less downtime recovering from injury, I can play longer and stay active with more consistency.”
“After two years of hip and sciatica issues—and even surgery that did nothing—I can move better, I’m stronger, and I’m sailing again. I can crawl in and out of my boat, squat down, and duck under the boom without feeling stiff.”
“In just a short amount of time, my hips and shoulders feel more stable, and my body works as a unit. I feel more connected to my body, and even my gait has changed.”
“Before starting the program, I did not realize how limited my mobility was or how much I compensated for a lack of mobility and strength in my shoulders and hips. I exercised regularly, but I would still end up immobilized for days at a time with lower-back pain. Justin focuses on rebuilding strength and mobility where it has been neglected. When I started, I had injured my shoulders using poor weight-training technique and had trouble reaching behind my back to tie an apron or lifting a barbell overhead. The program’s focus on my hips and shoulders has made it possible for me to exercise independently without hurting myself. I have much more awareness of where my body lacks mobility and strength, along with the patience to work on those areas for better long-term health. It’s worth it!”
“I exercised regularly, mostly on my own, but I had chronic back pain for more than 10 years. I had tried weightlifting with a trainer, occasional yoga, a Peloton bike, and walking, yet I always had to compensate for my back pain. What makes the program different is the focus on mobility—time spent stretching, opening the hips, and understanding how different exercises complement one another. I had felt strong before, but through Justin’s program I feel like I am building strength throughout my whole body. My back pain is now almost completely gone, which I credit to the hip-opening work. I can do squats to the floor, handstands, snatches, and cleans. I simply feel better, and the exercises have improved my tennis game. If you want to keep playing sports, moving well, and living in a body that feels good for as long as possible, you must do this.”
