Privacy policy.
Performance Catalyst LLC collects only the information needed to provide coaching, deliver programs, process payments, and communicate with clients.
Who this policy covers
This policy covers adults and clients ages 13 through 17 who visit the website, apply for coaching, purchase a product, or receive coaching. A parent or legal guardian must participate in the application, purchase, contracting, and consent process for a client under 18. Performance Catalyst services are not offered to children under 13, and the business does not knowingly collect their personal information.
Information we collect
We may collect your name, email, Ability Map answers and results, age, location, training history, goals, movement videos, check-in responses, communications, purchase and agreement records, and information you voluntarily provide about injuries, symptoms, medications, pregnancy-related restrictions, or other limitations. For a client under 18, we also collect the parent or guardian’s name, relationship, contact information, authorizations, and communications. Payment information is processed by Stripe; Performance Catalyst does not receive or store your full card number.
How information is used
Information is used to calculate and deliver requested Ability Maps, review applications, screen readiness within a fitness professional’s scope, deliver purchased services, recommend an appropriate starting level, provide coaching feedback, process payments and cancellations, improve programs, respond to inquiries, protect clients and the business, and meet legal or accounting obligations. Performance Catalyst does not use health information to diagnose or treat a medical condition.
Service providers
Information may be processed by service providers used to run the business, including Stripe for checkout and payments, TrueCoach for program delivery and coaching communication, and website hosting or email providers. Each provider handles information under its own terms and privacy practices.
Movement videos, testimonials, and marketing
Movement videos submitted for coaching are used privately for assessment and feedback unless the client separately gives written permission for another use. Performance Catalyst does not publish a client’s name, image, video, testimonial, or results merely because the client submitted them for coaching. Marketing permission is optional and is documented separately. Public use involving a minor requires separate written permission from the parent or guardian and assent from the minor.
Sharing and sale
Performance Catalyst does not sell personal information. Information may be shared with service providers as needed to provide a requested service, comply with law, protect rights or safety, obtain professional advice, or complete a business transfer. Performance Catalyst does not share a client’s private health or coaching information with other clients.
Retention and security
Signed fitness-service contracts are kept while active and for at least three years afterward as required by Illinois law. Other records are kept only as long as reasonably needed for coaching, safety, legal, tax, fraud-prevention, or legitimate business purposes. Performance Catalyst uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices
You may request access, correction, or deletion of information, or withdraw an optional marketing permission for future use, by emailing justin@performancecatalystllc.com. Some records may need to be retained for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, safety, or contractual reasons.
